I was in the same boat. I had to ask someone. You know when you 'edit profile', paste and copy the code into the Bio part. and thats it.

I was looking for a html area but myspace doesn't work like that.

you're not stupid...myspace is difficult. i think they did it on purpose to make people spend WAY too much time thinking about their site.
