Stories' Status

I have a little collection of 'To Be Continued's, so I thought I'd say here for anyone who's interested about what I'm planning to do with them.  That and my Current Big Project are both located under the cut.

Current Project: The Detective  (25k words were written for 2014 Nano Wrimo and then stopped until school and tests were over.  You can find my updates under the tag of the same name)
It's a crossover between Once Upon a Time and The Great Mouse Detective. Yes, I'm doing that XD Set in season one of OUaT, Basil and Dawson were 'characters' in the old fairy tale world, the Enchanted Forest. Now in Storybrooke, they're Sherrinford Hope and Ormand Sacker respectively, who have no recollection of their old life nor of each other.

Emma Swan goes to investigate the murder of a homeless man. She's forced to detain an unemployed war veteran currently living off his pension, Ormand Sacker, after finding his gun as the murder weapon. Emma feels like there's something going on, though, especially when she sees how much Regina wants Ormand to be imprisoned. She tries everything she can think of, but she can't find any evidence to prove Ormand's innocence or find out the truth. Just when she's about to give up, she finds a civilian on the crime scene. He's not supposed to be there but try telling that to him. He's infuriating and stuck-up, but he might just be Emma's only hope to figuring out the truth...

To be continued:
  • The Note, the Bowler Hat, and the Doctor:  this story was started with the vague concept that Holmes (sometime after his feigned death at the falls) tried to contact Watson so that they could both take down Moriarty's web together, but the letter (or whatever he used to get in contact) was intercepted by Moran and his associates, and they're now after Watson to use as bait for Holmes.  That was the idea anyway.  I ran out of steam after the first chapter and I don't think I'll be picking it up again.  Maybe if I get a lightning bolt of inspiration?  I don't know.  It's not one of my lesser popular ones anyway so I don't think anyone's holding their breath.
  • Holmses and Watsons:  Another case of a severe lack of planning.  This was the only fic I actually managed to submit in time for the July Writing Prompts for Watson's Woes -- which is to say, I wrote as quickly as I could a few hours before going to bed and didn't really care much about quality and other unimportant things.  This is currently in a state of limbo; which is to say, I might revisit and I might not.
  • Scarlet Studies:  Yes!  I so want to write a sequel!!  But I want to write something that sort of resembles a plot, which will require planning, which will have to wait until after The Detective is finished.  In other words, one of these days.
  • A Study in Wands:  Pretty much the same as SS.  I want to continue it with a mystery but planning, other story, etc.
  • Rache and the God-slayer:  This is a stand-alone, written in a fit of inspiration.  So no sequel, but I have big ambitions and dreams for writing a novel for the Study in Emerald universe.

Anything I haven't mentioned are all one-shots and completed.
