Well, it's hard to believe rifle season is behind us and it's back to bow season. Of coarse, trying to put off steelies even longer is a hard decision to make. Anyways, around the 8th of Nov I put away my rods and reel and exchanged them for my bow and gun. Well, made my way out to my blind for the last day of firearm. Thought today would be the day but it runed out to be the same thing since the firearm season start. Didn't see a single deer. Sat from 7-10 and then walked from 10-11 really slowly hoping to kick something up. Found a ton of runs along with a buck rub. I can only hope archery season ( Read more... )

This weather is drivin me insane, lol. I think mother nature is totally against me taking my first buck. Everytime the weather is decent I have class. Everytime I don't have class, the weather SUCKS. Went to see my brother at school today. We went deer watching and seen a button buck eating on some pumpkins. Went for a walk and never seen anything else. After we left and headed home in the tretorious weather my brother called to tell us he just saw 2 bucks, a six and a 4 point. Think I am going to the wrong school.

got out to my stand around 6:15. Few hunters headed out to the woods. Was really excited for some off reason. First light 3 does showed up and were quickly gone. Hour later seen a deer in the distant. Make a bleat and it had no interest. Later 2 more deer showed up but I don't know what they were. Everytime I saw them all I saw were tail.
