You're wonderful, this story is wonderful (though it had me scared for a bit in the middle there!)
(I gotta admit I did predict the Gift of the Magi thing happening, though.)

Thank you. I'd hoped to finish this by Thanksgiving, but it was not to be.

Okay. I am officially confused. I know House is married to Cuddy, and I have followed that Stacy is back and Cuddy doesn't know cause she's in Michigan. What I can't figure out is, are House and Stacy just friends or is their something more going on there?

There was potential for something to be going on, but not any more. They just broke up, before becoming a 'this.'

Okay. Thats what I thought. I have a good feeling Cuddy is going to be ticked when she finds out Stacy is back and has been for awhile and House never mentioned it. And then to top it off, Stacy has been around Rachel.

She was only around Rachel in part 2, in the scene at Wilson's loft. But you're right about Cuddy being ticked.

Cuddy is not threatened by Stacy. She feels completely secure. She is concerned about Rachel, of course, but she would never have gone off to Michigan if she was worried about House and fidelity.

I can imagine the sexy smirk she will give House when she learns about House leading Stacy on. She knows he loves her. She knows House knows she loves him..and Rachel. He never was in danger of a "this", but it was fun making every one, including Stacy crazy...until he could see his girl :))

I have a feeling that House and co. are already on their way to Michigan.. Can't wait for the House-Cuddy-Rachel reunion.

Please tell me there will be a Cuddy and Stacy encounter? (a subtle catfight will be great).

They are en route and will have to be called back.

Stay just all but sent House to Cuddy, by means of goodbye, so there's not going to be any Cuddy/Stacy confrontation... there will be a confrontation, but not who you might think.
