“I think,” Foreman said, “that when you find yourself willing to put out a chick flick, for a whiteboard, it might be time to reevaluate your career and your priorities.”
“He’s just jealous,” Chase suggested to Taub, “because he doesn’t smolder.”
“Says you," Foreman snapped. "I smolder plenty.” Perfection!
And of course I heart Devious!Wilson.
P.S. I know I sound like a lazy cow, but it's so great when you write one-shots. I don't have the time these days to read a long multichapter straight through or the memory to keep track of the installments in real time.
“House: Cuddy wants you to be her Valentine; she just doesn’t want to say that she wants you to be her Valentine. Cuddy: House wants to be your Valentine; he just doesn’t want to have to be your Valentine.
THIS is why these two couldn't get it to work in canon. Wilson wasn't helping the writers out. ;P
As always, this is spectacular! lt is a totally delightful combination of snarky, sweet and funny.
I totally empathized with Cuddy's feelings in the first scene with Rachel, and I laughed out loud at Foreman's 'when you find yourself willing to put out a chick flick, for a whiteboard, it might be time to reevaluate your career and your priorities'.
And the Wilson meddling was deftly handled; they do love to pull pranks.
...Nice touch choosing an actual existing place for their rendezvous.
PLEASE, PLEASE keep writing for this 'verse. It ratchets up the smiles (and ratchets down the crankiness factor) in everyone's day.
