So glad ( as well as relieved) to have you post this next chapter. You have all your plates spinning beautifully as usual, with House messing with his underlings to distract himself, Wilson's relationship ineptitude and poor Cuddy's headache-inducing work dilemmas as well as a hint that Thirteen may call upon House to make good his promise to her very soon. Excellent treat! Thank you.
As always, brilliant, brilliant writing, with so many layers, and surprises. I've already read this new installment several times since it was posted: each time, there's something additional to notice
( ... )
That note from Thirteen was a kick in the gut -- and I don't even like the girl.
Loved that April feels the need to provide truthful answers to every question, even the ritual ones. She is really a miracle character for this series.
The dialogue is so involving and intriguing it repays multiple readings.

“Staff management issue.” House flopped onto the couch.
“Cuddy’s or yours?”
“Do you even have to ask?” ~Perfect.
House fucking with his fellows.~ Even better.
Most intriguing~ Cuddy, who was reflecting that she’d never broken thirty percent on any single emotion in her life. DO.NOT.BELIEVE.IT.
Thank you,Stenveny.

It's 7.55am and I haven't been to bed yet, so I'm not capable of anything more than that right now.
