OMG, you're writing again, you're writing again! *dances around in ecstatic glee* And I love this story. It is so hilarious.

"I once broke into a maximum security storage vault with stuff I scrounged off a buffet table during a wedding reception, and then escaped in a four hundred thousand dollar Lamborghini I hotwired with the bride's cell phone. While I was wearing heels.

BWAHHAAAHAA!

Thank you! I've finally got my health situation squared away (I'm on the right meds, at last) so I can write, but nothing serious or significant was suggesting itself. I decided that silly writing is better than no writing, so here it is. I will now attempt to hit as many tropes, in as short a time, as possible. Kind of like Olympic mogul skiing. I may blow out my ACL in the process.

Totally, utterly thrilled to see a new fic from you...with a promised four chapters.

I always love the way that your stories challenge the reader, right from the start, and this one is no exception: you parachute us into House's brain, looking around and discovering the bar scene, and trying to deduce what the f*** is going on. We're engaged (and delighted) from the very beginning.

His wry self-awareness, his recognition of the intrinsic lack of satisfaction with what he is getting - that he is merely putting in time, rather than deriving any real enjoyment from his tropical paradise - and the clues that he is wanting to get back to his own life as objects from his apartment start to appear...well, it's all wonderfully well done.

Looking forward very much to the next chapter!

Thank you. :) I worry that the abrupt parachute into a perplexing situation (perplexing even for House, that is, and he's no slow learner) will come out as a hot mess and confuse the readers, but on the other hand, House fandom tends to be pretty smart, and it won't do to condescend or over-explain. It's good to hear that I put in just enough detail to avoid either extreme.

Thanks for reading & commenting.

Oh, it's House/Cuddy, have no fear. I've simply placed them in an Extremely Alternate 'verse.

And if it's no surprise that Cameron got there first, I hope that what she's been doing there, at least, will be just a little unpredictable.

Thanks for reading & commenting. Stay tuned.

Always a thrill to see the notification pop up that there's a new Stenveny story! Particularly one labeled House/Cuddy. :) I'm fascinated to see where we'll go, and if House's guess on what's landed him in this misfit peninsula as it were is right.

I'd wondered who those folks on the screen were at the beginning of Season 6 LOL. And there are several misbegotten and ill-treated characters from other shows I hope found a happier life (or at least good company) on the Peninsula...

Thank you!

Yes, I'll try to work in several mistreated characters -- of not specific ones, at least the tropes and usual suspects for OOC-abuse. No matter what I do to the House characters, I figure it can't possibly be worse than what "canon" did. ( I am going to have to play fast and loose with the laws of time and space, but, Literary License.)
