I've been skimming old TV shows, and I ran across one I haven't seen since the '80s.  "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" was a B-movie-quality series about a journalist struggling to expose supernatural horrors to the world.  Apparently, it's spun off of two movies, "The Night Stalker" and "The Night Strangler," which are spun off of "The Kolchak Papers
