[Mami's smile is a little shaky - face pale, but expression genuine. She's sitting atop the jungle gym in the old playground that Usagi introduced her to, legs swinging.]

What horrible pranks the Animus are playing on us this time. Do they do this every year? I'm looking forward to something a little cheerier on New Year's.

[Yuma watches the video, notes where Mami is, and immediately hightails it over to the park. She'd had quite enough of this tricking from the Animus, and was going to go be there for her friend in person this time.

In a few minutes, she arrives and starts climbing the jungle gym to meet Mami.]

Mami-oneecha, what happened?

[Mami seems more than a little surprised to see Yuma out, especially as she starts scaling the jungle gym. She takes a look around, eyebrows narrowing.]

Please tell me you aren't out alone.

[She settles close to Mami, chest puffing out in indignation. Geez, it's not like she's a little kid! Yes, it is.]

I was just taking a walk -- that's all.

[They were getting a little low on food. She was scavenging, but there's no reason to tell Yuma that, and lightly she drops her hand to rest atop the younger girl's head.]

I got a little restless in the house, but Mami-oneechan can take care of herself, too, you know.
