My first tutorial!

OK, so I don't really make graphics/icons that often, and this isn't an icon journal, but Alli requested it, and she is cool, so I thought what the hell. Anyways, here we go

( I used Paint Shop Pro, I explained some things but I'm assuming you have a basic knowledge of PSP)
To make this header;

I used the following layers:
Layer 1

Just the plain image
Layer 2
I made a new layer (Layers > New Raster Layer)and filled it with #F6CE80. I set the Opacity to 90.

Layer 3
Next, I duplicated Layer 1 (Layers > Duplicate) and set it to 'OVERLAY'. (Layers > Properties > Blend Mode)
Layer 4
I did the same thing I did in Layer 3, duplicated layer 1 and set the blend mode to overlay
Layer 5
I made a new layer, and then I filled it with #0C0B47. I also set the blend mode to 'EXCLUSION'.

Layer 6
Next, I made a new layer. I filled it with a pink gradiant. I have PSP6, so I'm not sure how this would look on other versions (is there a tool options box on psp 8?) BUT, bascily I clicked the flood fill icon, and then I used these settings. Fill Style: Linear Gradiant; Gradiant: Forground-Background; Angle: 0; Repeats: 0 I used these colors: #FCD7F0 and #FF3FA2. And, finnaly, I set the blend mode of the layer to Lighten.

OK, so hopefully, if I explained it right/you did it right, you'll end up with this:

If you have any questions, just comment in this post and I'll anwser them :)

Haha, that was fun, I might make more. EDIT// I fixed Layer 2, I forgot to say that you're supposed to set the opactiy to 90. Sorry about that!
