So proud to be British right now. Danny Boyle, you wowed the country and the world with your vision for everyone. The man so deserves a knighthood, not only for the Olympic Opening Ceremony but also for his contribution to British film- making.

The opening ceremony was epic. And I had high expectations 'cos I love Danny Boyle.

My only complaint (and its minor) is whoa hello political correctness. Don't know how obvious it seemed, not being British myself, but Aussies couldn't help but think it was being laid on a bit thick. Better than being offensive though lol.

The start and the transformation to the industrial revolution with all the drumming... holy shit. Possibly the most amazing thing I have EVER seen. I was in awe. And Kenneth fucking Brannah reciting Shakespeare. Jesus Christ that was amazing.

AND EVERYTHING WAS SO PRETTY.
Daniel Craig, The Queen, JK Rowling, Mr. Bean, 50ft Voldermort (why the fuck not?), epic music, dancing, fireworks. You should be very, very proud :D

Oh Good God! This is Britain. This is what we have to do every day so that the rest of the World doesn't see us as racist. I could go off on a huge rant, but I won't. I am of the opinion that creed or colour we are all equal, but there seems to be some people in this country that do not believe that.

Did you get ot see the amazing tribute to the 7/7 bombings? Unfortunately the US didn't because NBC decided to omit it from their broadcasting

God, this will be a pretty hard couple of weeks for me, since I'm not interested in ANY sort of sports and I haven't seen the opening ceremony and I don't give a damn about olympics and sports and such... so yeah... but well... Hope, the teams you want will win... good luck for that :D
