I watched Avatar with ben_munchkin today for the first time.  OMG it was so awesome.  The effects were amazing, as was the storyline.  I had a few tears along the way, Hoover got scared by Toruk, and the ending just left me wanting more.  I will probably do a rewatch tomorrow.

If any of my wonderful f/listies have not seen it, I urge you to do so.  Most of all

Agreed! Such a great movie.
I've loved Sam Worthington since he was doing Aussie movies (love him in Shakespeare's Macbeth set in the modern Melbourne underworld) and love even more that he's really making a mame for himself internationally. Looking forward to more Avatar in my future!

I have definately got a bit of a crush on him, especially when he has his longer hair in the movie

Absolutely love "Avatar"!

I first saw it on my first visit to the US - in an IMAX in California. Was convinced that when I got it on DVD it wouldn't be AS good as I thought - but it is!
