Call them back and ask to speak to a "Line Supervisor". For all call centers, there needs to be a person of seniority on hand to handle the situation.

If they give you the run around, tell them that can wait for them to get out of their "meeting" but not to put you on hold.

If they continue to give you the run around, let them know you're writing a letter to the Better Business BureauHere somethings to remember ( ... )

I was gonna call back around 6.

I did tell them I would wait for them to come out of their meeting, but I was told I couldn't be put on hold for any extended period of time. I also asked for a supervisor name or a direct line/extension and I was told their wasn't one.

The girl I spoke to the second time around was better than the girl I spoke to first. The girl I spoke to first tried to convince me that the balance increase was due to a late fee, which it wasn't and that the cable services they changed me to I've had the entire time I've been with Comcast, which is incorrect. I had the overpriced OnDemand for a year and then I knocked it down to the most basic of basic cables. I should just cancel my cable entirely. The only thing I actively watch is Project Runway and Seinfeld. Aside from that I use my TV to see what time it is.

I also had to call up a zillion times after having the line mysteriously disconnect while I waited on hold. Ughhh!!!

I didn't write down the girls name.

You could always do the other thing... call back every 15 or 30 minutes.
