Raw? Like raw dog? Like giving up condoms for 40 days? Something about that just seems the antithesis of spirit of Lent.

Maybe I misunderstood.

raw as in a raw food diet. a raw foodist. no baking, boiling, sauteing, steaming, microwaving, or frying.

I read an article in the NYT about that raw business, and it sounds like it pretty much sucks. You have to eat like 1000 times per day because the calorie density of raw food is so low (unless you drink oil).
