Holy crap, my mom lives in Squirrel Hill right now. Did they have the little squirrel-shaped bike holders when you were there?

Oh how cool! I don't remember those bike holders - they must have come after I left (at the end of 2001). But I loved that neighborhood! Patrick & I still talk about it wistfully. (He visited me there after we met, before I moved to the UK.)
