Busy with things! Babysitting, interning, volunteering, helping out family members with projects (painting the new upstairs of my sister's house, sorting coins) and still applying for jobs. Yay. My niece turned 4 this weekend. :) I can't believe how big she's getting ( Read more... )

It's okay that you don't like the show, you know. I'm glad you're being honest. You know, there is that old cliche: honesty is the best policy. There are other things we can talk about, right? If I remember correctly, we have teaching in common.

What color did you paint the upstairs area of your sister's place? I want to paint my dining room (the walls are currently dark pink) and it's a rather dark room so I am always asking people what color they painted a room or area.

Certainly -- I didn't intend this to be a defriending post for OUAT fans! I guess I just felt like I needed to rant, even though I felt bad about how much of a bummer that might be to my friends who I know still like it. :/ But yeah, even if I am super frustrated by the show at this point, I am still grateful for the enthusiasm it inspired in me early on that led to an influx of great new LJ friends ( ... )

Well, my house is one of those open concept ones where you can see from the living room, through the dining room to the kitchen. My living room is a pale grey so I may continue that color into the dining room and kitchen just for continuity. But that seems boring and then I would have to paint the hallway. Which is why I always ask about paint colors when someone mentioned they painted a room. :D

Yeah. It's recently crossed into that area for me where I am behind and I kind of feel a duty to catch up and a compulsive curiosity, but I simultaneously don't really feel like it's worth the time investment. Idk.

Eh. If you don't like, you don't. I obviously still very much love it. It just hits me in a way that makes me happy. So if you don't mind seeing all my posts about it there we are.

I don't mind seeing that at all. In fact, I really have been enjoying all the picspams. I just kind of felt like I had to rant about this for a minute, but I don't want anyone to stop enjoying it if they still enjoy it. I guess I'm just frustrated that I can't enjoy it the way I want to.
