Pretty rock of the day: Agatized Petrified Palm Wood
Pretty rocks, can't stop at one. Introducing another fossil-turned-agate: Agatized Petrified Palm Wood (Nevada).
I was hoping that the cell structures would show up, and so they did.
Some of these make interesting animal prints, always assuming your leopards are red and blue.
As per new practice I tried a slide cover to see if I could get sharper images, but this is a very three dimensional material so there was no great improvement.
