Something similar I have organised was a lot faster, but still drawing from the same "Who goes there?" themes.
SETUP
You get a group together in a (relatively) confined area (the surrounds of a set of cottages at a Terracon being an example)
You make up sets of slips in advance that say either "Victim" or "Monster" in a ratio of 3 or 4 to 1.
For every 4 players (approx) you put into a hat (Jar, whatever) 3 folded slips saying "Victim" and 1 saying "Monster" up to the maximum number of players (I tend to up the ratio in favour of victims if I'm hosting more than 12 players)
PLAY RULES
Explain the rules beforehand, especially about the "secret" monster.
So there is a shapeshifter in the group, and no-one knows who. It's insanely strong and no single person can take it out.
