I've heard of instances where brainwashed individuals had become violent, but that was during extreme situations. If these people are retaining their consciousness but are changing in personality...

I haven't heard of the town doing that.

It resembles something from my own world. In that case, it may be some kind of infection.

Something... something odd is going on around here, yes. We don't have much information yet, and we don't know if it was the town's doing or something else... but, something like that happened to me and at least one other person I've talked to. I-it was almost like being possessed or something. I was acting aggressive a-and just... nasty to everyone. And violent.

.... other residents.. A-A lot of them are... I mean I don't like to judge, but a lot of people here are, ah... difficult. And with people coming from all over time and space, they regain all kinds of weird abilities or powers. It's almost impossible to keep track of.
