[Creepy guys in white suits? No sweat. Some kid moaning about toxic gas? Piece of cake. Palom had been watching the hazmat men from a good distance, not at all afraid to wander around outside.

He is slightly more afraid to see someone lying on the ground spewing blood from his neck.]

W-What the heck happened?! Geez, guy, g-get up!

[Where's Porom where you need her? Palom continues to try and rouse the man from unconsciousness.]

[Nagi is gasping for breath, silently cursing himself. For a child to see him like this...]

[prodigious_mage]

[Palom has no idea what to do. All he knew was how to destroy. All he knew was . . . No. No, he couldn't do that. Turning someone to a statue to save them from bleeding to death was not a good solution at all.]

I . . . I'll get help . . . ! There was someone who called earlier . . . J-Just wait!

[Palom is running back home as fast as he can go.]

[Bad time to be running into these guys, huh, Nagi?

A group of four hazmats is shuffling slowly down the street.]

[Nagi shivers, barely managing to hold to his consciousness, but raises his other arm. A weak, almost pitiful orb of blood rises out of the pool on the ground, aimed at the men in the suits.]

[They continue advancing, either not noticing the orb or not caring.]

[Nagi wants to fight, but he can't move anymore; with a silent cry, he collapses.]

[Despite getting a bit freaked out by the hazmats the other night, April was never one to learn her lesson and is now walking down the street, although she makes sure to stay as far away from the hazmats as possible, but for now she's calm about walking around them.

Then she spots a man bleeding from the neck.]

Bloody hell, a-are you okay? W-what happened to you?

[All he can do in response is offer a few weak gasps. He hates this feeling, hates not being able to give voice to the thoughts racing through his head, but there is nothing he can do but bleed.]

[April curses to herself as she kneels next to him, since while she does have first aid skills, there's no way in hell that she'll be able to treat this sort of wound. For now, all she could try to do is slow down the bleeding. She tears a large piece of her skirt off, luckily it was one of those long flowy things, and wads it up to firmly press against the wound after moving his arm away, hopefully stemming the blood flow at least a bit.

Now she had two options: Leave him here to go get help, but that would mean leaving him on his own, where he could possibly bleed to death or see if she'd be able to take him back to the house and then phone for help, but she knew that moving someone in this condition was generally a bad idea. Think, think, think...]

[Sophie has been informed of someone being wounded, so she hurried over to the scene. She spots Nagi and hurries over.]

Sir? Sir, are you still conscious?

[She immediately checks for a pulse.]

[prodigious_mage]

[Having done his duty, Palom returns to the scene and hovers inconspicuously in the background. Even he knows when it's time to shut up.]

[He is not conscious. There is a pulse, but it is weak; Nagi is fading fast.]

[She panics slightly. She really isn't sure if there is much she can do at this point, but she grabs his hand and holds it tight. Taking a deep breath she begins to use her magic.]

You must not give up now. There's still life in you. Please, give him more life. Heal his wounds and give him life.

[ooc: And it's up to you if this has any affect at all. If you want him to live, go for it. He won't be healed instantly, but wounds would probably close enough to stop the bleeding. And if you want him to die, that's fine too. :)]
