I really liked the movie. I didn't really have much time to feel sorry for him though because I was too busy lusting after him. But anyway, my mom originally told me about Stephen Glass and that he had his pieces read on NPR or some station like that that she always listens to and that the stories were always really well-written and interesting. If this is so, (and I trust Mom's taste) then it just makes me think that Mr. Glass must have some sort of mental problem. For why not just call the stories 'fiction' and collect the inevitable accolades than lie and become irreparably humiliated?
Yeah, the movie's all right. I gave it a 4 out of 5 on Netflix.
It does sound as if he'd do well writing fiction. And he did finish law school the movie said. So perhaps he was just warming up for the stories he'd have to tell as a lawyer.
The good news for him is that in American society, you fail upwards. If you screw up majorly enough, you get to write a book about it (which he did), cry during your confession on TV (which he may have done), and make millions (I hope not, but probably).
