because of the corporation bit, or because he also enjoys the comfort and sound quality of the sony mdr-ex71 headphones? probably both.

Another reason the Apple earbuds suck: you can't run without them falling out or having them move around and feeling like they're about to fall out at any moment. I really hate that. I might seriously consider this sony earbud thing.

Also, I laughed quite a bit when I saw the VH1 thing about The Arctic Monkeys. "Shortly after the press convinced me the Arctic Monkeys were my favorite band, I realized I had never heard their music!"

yeah. and the sound quality sucks. and they're flipping huge. and you have to smash them in your ears. and, here's one no one ever thinks of: the 1/8" plug goes straight into the headphone jack, compared to most other headphone jacks, which have a 90 degree bend. the straight ones allow the plug to be rocked back and forth, which can work the whole jack loose, and cause it to knot work. so that's why you NEED new headphones.
