What Smells like mothballs? That's right, Grandparents smell like mothballs

From now on I think I'm gonna let somebody else plan out my weekends. Whenever I do it myelf, things never turn out the way I want them too. Let's compare my fun-filled days with my other Live Journal pals, shall we?
Their Friday and Saturday: Dancing at Kali's, the 'what's underneath your blouse' song, seeing Jarrett finally reveal his ovaries,a tub full of cherry coke, and a fucking movie night
My Friday and Saturday: Two and a half hours of driving, a 47 minute educational 3d movie on how 3d movies work, and reading C&P at the grandfamily's house until I passed out from utter boredom. Then work at 8 a.m., which was six hours straight
of cutting giant pieces of meat into smaller pieces of meat. And finally, eating dinner with the old folks again, and having to sit through 'View from the Top.'

Ok, so I guess I'm leaving out the good parts, but only for dramatic effect. I did get to hang out with Eli and Maggs, and for the first time in months, Amanda. Even if the trip wasn't all the hype money could buy, it was great getting to talk to them. For those of you who don't know the girls

This is Maggie

and this is Amanda.

Here's a cool shot at sunset outside of the restaurant we didn't eat at.

The movie, well, it still sucked, but then we went to Hot Topics, cuz I had never been to one before, and oh my god, I found the cutest little shirt that matches, like, my entire wardrobe, I was sooooo excited

I wear it to feel pretty.
Um, after we got back I went out and bought a new battery for Gloria, 650 minutes of nonstop hardcore video action, yeah buddy! Even Saturday wasn't a total waste, as we had a seriously kick-ass game of frisbee going on (which reminds me, anyone who wants to play should come out to Bishop some time, don't worry about skills, I mean, Dusty plays all the time, so you wouldn't look too bad)
So parts of the weekend were great, but I've decided next weekend needs to be all out awesome. Fortunately, that will all be up to Emily, hehehe. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some cherry coke to drink.
