We almost borrowed Warren's neighbor's canoe in order to go outside tonight.
There was so much water that a river was running down from the Froedtert parking lot through Warren's yard and into the street.  The cops or some other emergency official put a bale of hay in the road to keep people from running ashore on the curb.  I hear they even closed

Sounds exciting! I was just in Milwaukee Friday (as you probably know from reading my post.) When Mike and I lived on 21st and Wisconsin, we always rejoiced that we didn't live further east because east of us was pretty mcuh a giant hill leading all the way down to the lake. Which meant all of our floodwater ran down there. Muah hahaha.
Still, I would have liked to see a fish swim across the road. I might get a chance, as fort atkinson is currently under a flash flood warning and pretty much floods all the time.
