when my uncle was fighting his cancer, you were always in the back of my mind. while i never said much to you (i regret that, though i suspect you don't! ;-P), i always did read your posts for updates. it cheered me to see when you'd progress, to see your attitude, in light of what i knew my uncle to be suffering through at the same time (especially since he had also been told near the beginning that his chance of survival was very, very high). it certainly made me happy when you'd finally made it through.
