You can really get married anywhere: Churches, a private home, gardens, hotels, clubs, halls, parks, museums, yachts, wineries, beaches, hot air balloons, underwater... Find a open space you like and have it there.

3 months till the wedding, huh? Better get crackin'

I still think small weddings are always the best, Like how Carol and Tony did it, in a Park with a messload of people.

But thats just me. =D

Awww, september? But, I want to come! =(

The place we got married has a website - lovesweddings.com - but I believe their Saturday and Sunday packages were pretty expensive (which is why we got married on a Friday).

Tambra got married in the rose Gardens at Manito, which was beautiful - only catch is that you can't have any chairs, which can make things a little awkward. You can call the parks department and find out what parks allow it and what the restrictions are - generally that route only costs a couple hundred dollars TOPS.

However, I would highly recommend having some kind of sheltered option since your wedding is in September - the weather could end up being gorgeous, but it could easily turn on you. Back up plans are your friend.

We got our cake at Safeway. It was yummy and way cheap.

oh yeah, and we used my friend Khalil for the service (he's an ordained minister). We were in complete control of everything. And he didn't even charge us - we still gave him a nice bottle of scotch as a thank-you.

He's on lj as da_guru

I have a friend (yes I do have one) Her daughter got married in Manito Park in the rose garden. You just need to contact the park manager.
