i completely agree with you. I don't believe a woman needs to be the leader of the household- in fact, the majority of marriages I've seen, those wives who are constantly trying to control everything and refuse to submit to their husbands (even occasionally) are the ones who end up in divorce. I'm perfectly happy being submissive to Chris. Sure, sometimes it gets aggravating, especially if there's something I want or I need to do something and he'd rather have his request done first but for the most part I enjoy it. I know that Chris would kill/die for me and I'd do the same for him.

I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to see the photos. :-D

I think that men have belittled women (and other women have belittled women) to the point that they often have felt like they need to fight for a place and fight for importance where they haven't been made to feel important...I think the mindset has changed that women believe submitting to their husband is losing their individuality. In reality, ones' husband should be promoting individuality and encouraging his wife and should be making her feel important enough that she doesn't have to fight for it and she feels secure in who she is and in how her husband feels about her.
thanks :) i can't wait to post them!

1st off, that isn't to say that the need doesn't get met. sometimes being humble does pay off.

2ndly, by looking at the state of your relationships- well, lets just say you're one to give advice.
