"Oh my god, really?"
Jessica's loud English outburst welcomed Tiffany as she opened the door to the practice room they're using. She looked at each face of the girls in the room and frowned at the same looks of anxiety, worry, fear and disbelief.
Tiffany heard a loud bang and looked to see Yuri with one hand planted firmly on the desk. "Are they for real? Something as simple as that?"
The anger and irritation on Yuri's face made Tiffany's stomach churn and she wondered what has happen this time. She caught the gaze of Taeyeon who was sitting in the corner, legs pulled up to her chest. She tried to question her with her eyes but Taeyeon just mouthed off an 'I'm sorry.' before looking away.
She made her way to where the other are huddled up and peeked over Jessica's shoulder and to the laptop. She read the article's title and frowned.

"Unnie..." Tiffany felt a hand on her arm and turned to look at the owner.
"Juhyun-ah?"
Seohyun looked at her worriedly with fear in her eyes. "What are we going to do? Surely the higher ups are gonna scold Sooyoung unnie and Taeyeon unnie."
Tiffany pondered for a moment. Their maknae was right. A scandal like this is not something the higher ups will just let pass. Not when they just made their comeback and when their agency is still facing the scandal of SHINee.
"We'll be fine, Juhyun-ah." Tiffany smiled and patted the younger girl on the head. "We'll be fine."
"Look, Taeyeon, I'm sorry about this." Sooyoung's voice echoed around the quiet room. And Tiffany turned to observe the two.
Sooyoung knelt in front of Taeyeon and frowned apologetically. "I initiated the action. It's my fault."
Taeyeon shook her head and Tiffany's chest hurt at the fake smile Taeyeon put on. "No, Sooyoung. It's not your fault. Don't worry yourself too much."
"We're the ones who planned the ending too." Sunny stated with Hyoyeon and Yuri nodding beside her. "We're the ones who told everyone to act extra playful for it."
"And we both told Sooyoung unnie to do fanservice." Yoona whispered. Jessica frowned alongside the second maknae. "We're sorry, Taengoo."
"Guys," Taeyeon sighed out as she stood up from her corner. "Stop it, okay? It's not your fault."
Sooyoung looked up at the older girl. "But Taeyeon-"
The door slammed open, cutting of Sooyoung as all heads turned.
"Choi Sooyoung, Kim Taeyeon."
The cold and hard voice of their manager served to increase their nervousness as he glared at the two girls. "You two are being called to the office."
"Oppa, wait," Sooyoung looked at him. "Please listen first. Please let Taeyeon go. It's all my-"
"It's my fault, oppa." Taeyeon's hard voice cut Sooyoung off.
Tiffany quickly looked over at the older girl and she could see the fear she's masking behind her leader voice.
"I'll talk to them. Just send Sooyoung and the others home first." She stated before looking at her members. "Everyone, go on ahead first. I'll just call later, okay?" Taeyeon asked with a sheepish smile.
No one tried to question Taeyeon anymore as the girls left one by one. Some headed straight out, obeying Taeyeon properly while others glanced at Taeyeon for a moment before going out.
Tiffany noticed one more in the room aside from her. Seohyun.
"Juhyun-ah..." She whispered as she placed a hand in the younger girl's own. "Go home first." She advised but Seohyun only shook her head.
Taeyeon walked over to them and faced the maknae before she put an outstretched hand on the younger girl's head. "Juhyun." The soft voice made Seohyun meet Taeyeon's gaze. "Juhyun-ah, why are you not listening to your Fany unnie?" She asked lightly.
Seohyun said nothing and Taeyeon continued. "Go home first, alright? I'll personally call you later."
"But unnie!" Seohyun argued as she looked down at her unnie.
"Seohyun, it's okay." Taeyeon smiled again before hugging the other girl. "Go now, okay?"
Seohyun hugged Taeyeon back and stayed still for a few seconds before gathering her things and leaving. Now, only Taeyeon and Tiffany are left in the room. Tiffany looked at Taeyeon worriedly and Taeyeon smiled. She facedtheir manager who was standing by the door.
"Can you please give us a moment, oppa? I'll be there in a few minutes."
Their manager nodded and closed the door behind him, leaving the two girls alone. Once given the privacy, Tiffany spoke up. "Taeyeon."
"It's okay, Fany."
"I know that but still..." Tiffany trailed off with a frown as she looked down.
Nothing happened for a few seconds until Tiffany felt a warm hand on her cheek. "Taeyeon..." Tiffany sighed out.
"We'll be fine, Miyoung-ah." Taeyeon whispered. "We'll be fine."
Tiffany just nodded and tried to cherish the moment despite knowing that what Taeyeon said was a lie. Just like what she told Seohyun earlier.
After a few seconds, Taeyeon pulled away and smiled. "Are you gonna wait here?"
Tiffany nodded. "Yeah."
"Okay then." Taeyeon stated as she walked to the door and opened it. "I'll be back soon."
The door closed again and Tiffany let out a sigh as she slid down on the floor. She understands the situation. Of course she does. Even the smallest things they do are seen by many. Even the tiniest mistake can cause them their dreams. It's the price they pay. It's the price of their dreams, their passion and their social life. And it's a price they're all willing to pay to be able to share each other's dreams.
And Tiffany knows how issues like this end up when Taeyeon decides to take care of them. Taeyeon always does. She's the leader after all. She always takes the blame and every single time she does, Tiffany's heart hurts. But Tiffany says nothing. Nothing she can say will ever change Taeyeon's decisions. Especially because Taeyeon does it out of her love for her members. Tiffany knows. Taeyeon will never put the blame on any of her members.
Not on Sooyoung for initiating the act. Not on Sunny, Hyoyeon or Yuri for planning what was gonna happen. Not on Jessica or Yoona for helping out. Not for Seohyun for not being able to do anything and not on her for only being able to watch as things unfold.
Taeyeon could blame the whole world and herself but never her members.
