Taeyeon / Tiffany

Pointless

Taeyeon mentally slapped herself for the nth time as she continued pacing back and forth. She stopped, bit her lip before running her fingers through her now freed hair irritably and going back to pacing.

The girl sitting on the couch with one leg propped up on a stool lifted an amused eyebrow. "Taeyeon, you should sit-"

"Ssh!" Taeyeon shushed, not even stopping a bit with her pacing.

Tiffany's lips formed a straight line. "But Tae-"

"Hush!" Taeyeon's eyebrows drew together as she frowned.

A sigh. "Tae-"

This time it was not Taeyeon but a staff member that interrupted Tiffany. "Here's the ice and the first-aid kit."

Taeyeon stopped pacing and quickly moved towards the older woman. "I'll take it, unnie!"

"Are you sure, Taeyeon-ah?" The staff member asked as she handed the kit and icebag cautiously. "You should probably go back."

"It's fine, I'll do it, unnie." Taeyeon flashed a small smile. "You can go now, I'll take care of this."

The staff member glanced at Taeyeon, Tiffany and then back to Taeyeon before letting out a sigh. "You're so stubborn, Taeyeon-ah. Fine."

Taeyeon waited for the older woman to leave the room before walking over to the other girl. She lifted the propped up leg and sat herself on the chair it was previously on and setting the leg carefully on her lap. Her fingers softly peeled of the pink sock.

"I can do that myself, Taeyeon." Tiffany sighed out.

"Just sit there, Tiffany." Taeyeon answered back. She finally peeled the pink article completely off and winced at the red bruising spot. "Ah, shit."

Taeyeon felt a light poke to her forehead. "Language, Kim Taeyeon." Tiffany scolded with a frown.

Taeyeon whispered a small apology before reaching for the ice bag and putting it over the red spot.

"Ah! Cold!"

Taeyeon quickly retracted her hand. "Sorry, Fany-ah." She stated with a frown. "I'm gonna put it back, okay?" She waited for a nod before pressing down on the spot with the bag.

The two of them stayed silent, Taeyeon's eyes on the bruised ankle and Tiffany's eyes on the top of Taeyeon's head. Taeyeon sighed out and absentmindedly caressed the skin her thumb is in contact with.

"I'm sorry." She whispered.

"For what, Tete?"

Taeyeon shrugged. "You know... I didn't notice that you fell and hurt yourself until after the performance."

"That's not your fault at all."

"I should've noticed." Taeyeon argued. "It's you for crying out loud."

"I don't see how you're in fault, Tae."

Taeyeon let out a sigh knowing that it's another pointless argument between and decided to stop as she removed the ice bag, set it aside and reached for the bandage inside the kit. She glanced at Tiffany who was looking intensely at her before starting to wrap the injured ankle.

"You should probably head back already." Tiffany commented as she watched Taeyeon's skilled fingers work on her foot. "You have a leader's interview, right?"

"That can wait." Taeyeon answered without looking up. "I already talked to Sooyoung."

"You have to put that first, you know." Tiffany wiggled her toes.

"Stop wiggling your toes." Taeyeon commanded, stopping the wiggling toes with her hand before going back to work.

"Work should always be first."

"False." Taeyeon replied shortly, slightly irritated by Tiffany's constant side comments.

"You always say that the group is always first cause of work."

Taeyeon stopped and glared at Tiffany. "Well not this time." She took a deep breath. "You'realwaysfirst."

Tiffany tilted her head. "Pardon?"

Taeyeon sighed. "I said, you're always first. You're first over everything to me."

"Oh." Tiffany clamped her mouth shut. A little bit surprised by the unusual confession. The room stayed in silence for a while as Taeyeon continued dealing with the bandage and Tiffany stared at anywhere except Taeyeon.

"Does it hurt?"

"A little." Tiffany answered as she watched Taeyeon finish up wrapping her foot.

"You're always first on my list, you know." Taeyeon said softly as she lifted up her head to look at Tiffany properly. "Above everything. I'd choose you always. Over others, over my job, over being a leader, over being an idol. I'd choose you."

"Taeyeon..."

"I'm just saying." Taeyeon shrugged as she patted the now bandaged foot. "You always come first to me, Hwang Miyoung."

Tiffany just stared at Taeyeon for a few seconds before breaking into a smile. "Thanks, Taeyeon."

Taeyeon smiled and gently moved the injured leg to the couch and sat on the end of it. "I was supposed to pay attention to you at all times. I failed to do so a while ago. Sorry."

Tiffany grinned. "Yeah, you were supposed to do that." She answered back, feeling playful. "You know, the paying attention to me at all times part."

"Yeah..." Taeyeon grinned back. "I should have caught you, huh?"

"It's fine, you did catch me when I fell for you anyway." Tiffany cheekily answered back.

Taeyeon blushed and stood up from her seat with a laugh. "Oh gosh, Tiffany that's just... I don't even... Cheesy. Too cheesy, Miyoung-ah!"

Tiffany just giggled at Taeyeon's teasing. She reached out her right hand towards the standing girl. "Come."

Taeyeon smiled and took the hand. She let out a surprised yelp when she was pulled down. She landed on top of Tiffany and heard the girl giggle.

"F-Fany-ah!" Taeyeon scolded as she pushed herself up with her arms, focusing on avoiding hitting Tiffany's injured leg.

Tiffany laughed and pulled the older girl back down. Taeyeon frowned and struggled. "This is dangerous, Fany-ah! Your leg-"

"It's okay as long as you don't move aorund too much." Tiffany cut off Taeyeon as she adjusted a little, her arms still wrapped around the older girl on top of her.

Taeyeon's body relaxed but she still looked anxious and worried. "But Tiffany..."

"Shh..." Tiffany shushed. "This is the least you can do after letting me injure myself." She stated before moving her arms and pulling Taeyeon down by the neckline of her shirt and pressing a chaste kiss on the soft lips. "Let's just stay like this until you're needed out there, okay?"

Taeyeon sighed at the kiss and closed her eyes. "I can just stay here with you, you know."

Tiffany shook her head, caressing Taeyeon's soft cheeks with her hands. "Nope, you can't. Our sones went to see us perform. So you need to go there and please them."

Taeyeon let out a sigh of mock resignment. "Fine, I'll do what my mushroom says. And I'll make our fans happy." Taeyeon then looked down to the other girl with a grin. "I'll do those as long as I get kisses until it's time for me to get back out there."

Tiffany chuckled and pinched Taeyeon's cheeks. "Fine, you dork."

Taeyeon laughed and nuzzled Tiffany for a moment before leaning down to kiss her softly. "I'm your dork anyway."

"Mhm, yes you are."

"And you're my mushroom."

Tiffany nodded. "Yes, I am." She smiled and planted a chaste kiss on Taeyeon's forehead. "I love you."

Taeyeon smiled back and kissed Tiffany again before whispering against her lips, "Mhm, yeah. Love you too."
