Long Drabble

"Unnie, unnie, look!" Jiyoung skipped in happily with a big grin on her face and her eyes twinkling with mirth.
The blonde girl sitting prettily on one of the chairs positioned side by side looked up to meet her gaze with a smile and Jiyoung blushed at how the older girl could look gorgeous effortlessly. "Look, unnie!" Jiyoung twirled around, remembering the cause of her excitement. "I'm wearing pink while you're wearing blue! We match!"
"I know, right?" Gyuri stated with a giggle that made Jiyoung giggle back. The older girl inspected her own outfit. "Maybe we should buy these ourselves. Like a couple jacket or something."
Jiyoung blushed at the idea and saying she doesn't like it would be a huge lie. The blush did not go unnoticed and soon, she found herself wrapped tight in the arms of her unnie who was hugging her around her waist. "My baby is blushing! Do you like it that much, Jiyoungie~?"
Jiyoung wiggled in her unnie's arms and whined. "Unnie!" Once finally out of her capturer's arms, Jiyoung huffed and turned away with a pout and her arms crossed across her chest.
The melodious laugh filled her ears again and it took almost all of her will to not turn around and glue herself back to Gyuri's side like she usually does.
"Oh come on, Jiyoungie. You know unnie is only kidding." Gyuri cooed after a while with a hand placed on Jiyoung's hip. "You know you are my favorite that's why I always tease you, right?"
Jiyoung willed herself to not give in so easily this time and didn't say anything in response. She felt a tug on her jacket son after. "Jing~ Aww, forgive unnie, please? You know I treasure my Jiyoungie the most that's why I tease her all time, right?" Gyuri cooed once more with a bit of her rare aegyo in her voice.
With the rarely used aegyo suddenly present in her beloved unnie's voice, there's no way Jiyoung can resist any longer. So before she could think a bit more, words spilled out of her mouth first,
"But you never told me you love me, Gyuri unnie."
The older girl blinked several times. "What?"
"You never told me that you love me. Not even once." Jiyoung repeated with a slight blush. What she was saying right now was beyond embarrassing but it's been bothering her for so long. Whenever she tells the other girl that she loves her, Gyuri always just responds with a smile and a hug or a playful kiss on her cheeks or on her forehead. Never had she once received an 'I love you' from the older girl and truthfully speaking, it's starting to bug her.
"Oh, really? I haven't?"
Jiyoung nods. Gyuri smiled crookedly at her. "But that isn't really necessary, is it?" She asked as she retracted ehr hand from Jiyoung's hip and say sideway on the chair.
Jiyoung buried on hand in the pocket of her pocket and sighed. "It is, unnie."
"I don't need to voice that out. I'm confident in my feelings for you." She stated with utmost positiveness.
Jiyoung let out another sigh. "You just have to say it once." She whispered with a disappointed groan knowing that she lost today as well, just like in every other time she asked the the older girl to say 'I love you' to her.
The two stayed silent for a long while with Jiyoung idly standing up and Gyuri on the chair and Jiyoung resisted the urge to let out a sigh every minute that passed them by.
A few more minutes passed until Jiyoung felt a warm hand slip in her own, "Then," followed by a light tug. Jiyoung turned her head to the side at the action, not quite looking at the older girl.
"If I tell you I love you," Gyuri whispered. "Can I keep you forever?" She asked with a squeeze on Jiyoung's hand.
Jiyoung felt her cheeks burn and her heart swell and the corners of her lips tug upwards. She let out a satisfied sigh and her words rolled of her tongue coated with amusement and love.
"Of course, Gyuri unnie."
She felt another squeeze on her hand that now felt warm and full and Jiyoung thought to herself, forever isn't enough of a term to describe how long a certain blonde girl can keep Jiyoung all to herself.
