I think their underlying message in the song is something like ... I don't care who you are, I'll love you if you buy my crappy record and posters.

That would be "As Long As You Love Me" by the Backstreet Boys. One of my favorite BSB songs.... until I actually listened to the lyrics and thought "hm. that's a little less optimistic than I thought..."

For the record, I'm a HUGE boyband fan and proud of it. You should hear "What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful)" by the same group if you want to hear a completely different "message!"

Oh, I'm not knocking boy bands. I was down with Az Yet, remember them? And I loved Boyz II Men! They were the boy band to kick off that whole era.
