Those dog houses are cute!!

I feel the same way. When we were bumming around Saturday we went to the pet store to get stuff for the iguana and there was about 10 kittens and 2 puppies. I wish I could take every single one of them. The puppies seem to go faster than the kittens but the one pet store we frequent (we just go and look at the fish/reptiles for the fun of it sometimes) I could tell that some of the kittens were the same ones that were there the last time we visited. They're so cute and so sweet I just feel so horrible to see them all cramped in those cages! I wish there was something I could do to help them out too!

yeah, going there is sad too. at least they're not cramped in those lil cages ALL the time. usually those dogs/cats have foster families that you normally have to set up an appt. with in order to see the pet. one or two days a week though, they'll bring 'em to a pet store or another location so the pet gets more exposure & for our convenience too, i'd assume. the ones that comes directly from the shelters don't have it as good, but at least their cages at the shelter are bigger than the ones at the pet stores.

Yea I know what you're talking about. That's how we got Reggie. There was a lady that had like 35+ cats walking around her house and she'd bring them to the pet store on the weekends for adoption. Poor Reggie was really sick when we got him from being in those conditions. But this store is privately owned and I'm pretty possitive those kittens are there all day/night until someone purchases them.

poor kitties :-( innocent animals have to suffer because of people's choices. it's just not fair.
