Lately I've felt the same way, Steph. "Dried up," if inspiration is a kind of moistness in the soil of verbal thought. Eh... I wouldn't worry about it too much, really. Sometimes we have more to say than other times. Perhaps the Spring season mellows the urge to speak, or it could be a quiescent season of the heart. 99% of the time, we fill up the silence with witless words to keep our anxiety at bay. But I rather like what CS Lewis says(to paraphrase): Silence and music are both beautiful things, the essence of the divine, and are both in opposition to "noise." I think I've been noisy enough for this comment!

Yes, I think you can. Sometimes there's just too much going on, and it won't make a difference, but I know for me sometimes it's just one nice compliment or comment that's really made me feel better (especially lately).
