I do hate it when this happens. I open the update journal page and my head is going too fast and then I get self concious and I don't know what to write. Recently I looked back at my posts and was concerned by the fact that I religiously check my friends post everyday, yet I average a post a week

i can tell you w/o trying that i couldnt do your experiment. ever since i got a laptop (and my desktop got stolen) i live w/ my computer. my whole life is on it.

I guess it's not all bad...it just makes me appriciate what I have had more. I just hope I don't get too addicted to my computer when I do have it again.

are you applying for fifth year?

still thinking about it. dont think so though, its not reliable enough, and w/o TA ships, i cant live, so we'll see. depends on who the new chair is also. i might apply as a fall back?

I am. But it is one of three things I am applying for. I guess I can't make my decision till I know what I get accepted to.a I'm not sure of anyone else who is...

that's how i felt when my laptop broke last year. it was kind of nice in a way. now i use my computer more for work than play, which is good... i'd try your test, but i have too much to do that involves the internet.
