Those are awesome quotes, and pretty timely, considering I'm having my students tackle E. San Juan's On the Presence of Filipinos in the United States right now. Who are these words attributed to? What's the original source material?

these words were inspired by uncle sonny but they are actually my personal reflections.... wanted them to seem like quotes though =)
