Job dilemma

I've been working at my current workplace for almost two years. I really like the people and the mentality - except for my boss. I'm an assistant, so I'm constantly under his thumb. Unfortunately he's a micromanager who gets upset at the slightest mistake quite often. He doesn't yell but he'll pound the desk with his fist and say how disappointed
