I went on a Critical Mass ride last night for the first time. The crowd was much different from that in Austin (which has been historically comprised of hostile BMX kids more interested in drinking than riding bikes). I discovered some forgotten layouts I had made at the beginning of 2002 that are surprisingly nice. I plan on re-using the concept, though I'll need to recreate the files since [subjectively] the anti-aliasing functions of Photoshop 5.5 don't seem to be on par with CS2.
