I saw Into the Wild today with my wife. It was a pretty good movie, but seriously, who goes to a river and says "i guess i can't cross it" and goes back and starves to death? Wouldn't ANYONE trapped on one side of a river walk up and down the river a little to check for a crossing? They're opening a Planet Fitness like 10 miles away from my apt.

I don't know if you read the book, but I remember that it had more incite on his death in the bus... I need to see the movie, but I missed out so it looks like a DVD catch.
