So, it appears the couple snow flakes that fell in Washington, made national news. Having seen a lot of local coverage, I did not realize that some of the reports I was watching was nation coverage ( Read more... )

Very beautiful, the scenes remind me of my childhood spent in Norway in the mountains where we had a family house. Wonderful images :)

My folks have cupboards of photo albums which I'd love them to have professionally scanned in at some point :-)

or maybe a loving son who can help with the scanning? I did something like that with an uncle a couple years ago. I think it was mutual, on who was happier to do it.

NOw that the snow is slowly (very very slowly) going away, I think some read bird feeders are going to be placed through out the yard. the ham bone is not too easy on the eyes

these are fantastic.
the long road that goes into the distance is quite haunting and vivid, i'm shivering just looking at it :P
