(w/the Olympic Mountain range as a backdrop) the south end of the Hood's Canal is a good place to see eagles, at low tide and the southern end of the canal, is the bestest time and place to see them. it's about a 10 mile drive for me
3 pic panoramic, birds just hangin out at the local watering hole
the Olympic Mountain range in the background
bbq'ing and his legs are not long enough, even standing on something did not help
a TA-DAH! moment
The eagle has landed
they were not very friendly towards each other
soaring/swooping/flying like an eagle
I swear, it was this big....
mmmmmm...sweet golden nectar...mmmmmm
For some reason, when I've posted pictures lately, LJ has been super sizing them. To a degree, I like that. but...it is annoying. taking pictures is something i like to do, and I also enjoy showing them. But when they are soooooo big, ya having to scroll up/down or side/side to see them? that's when the annoying part comes in. oh well, i'll figure it out at some point....
