It's possible that my opinion of Cedar Rapids is colored by the freakin' 150 miles of pouring rain I drove through to get here but seriously, SO MUCH CORN AND GENERAL TERRIBLENESS

It's cool, I'm a Washington State transplant, and summer storms here are pretty much exactly as you've described. I applaud you for surviving rain-driving. :P

I like corn too! It's delicious. But after like the first three cornfields I was pretty much done with corn :| and then there were three million more cornfields.
