That's so sweet - thank you! I'm glad we're OK too, because it could have easily become a multiple car collision. The car is deady dead dead though, so I've been on the car shopping track in the meanwhile. Finally found one that was reasonably priced. The US is way too dependent on cars - I miss the public transport situation in HK. How's it in New Zealand?

As for the rest, grrrr, I've been there. Not as bad as you had it, but I've gotten stuck dealing with a mess some other sloppy driver made while they got away scot-free.

Thanks. Car repair doth sucketh. Car shopping is worse. It seems like every stereotype about the smarmy car salesman is true. I've never heard so many fake sounding laughs in my life

This May will make three years ago I was car shopping. To make things worse, a lot of the salesmen assumed I couldn't afford anything halfway nice and tried to sell me a lot of hoopties.
