Omg you guys, so I'm watching Detroit 187. HOW HAS NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS SHOW. It's like Homicide: Life on the Streets, old school Law & Order and DaVinci's Inquest all rolled into one, with a dash of NYPD Blue for good measure.
How is everyone on my f-list not losing their minds over this show?! Plus it totally has Shaun Majumder and Michael

Michael Imperioli is so great... although I always have to stop and think to write his name. I still always want to call him Christopher Moltisanti, LOL!!
Yeah, that's how I'm feeling... I'm really concerned that it's gonna get cancelled, but you never know. I wasn't really feeling Hawaii Five-O, but Detroit 187 is gonna get some big time love from me.

We need a good cop show on TV. We need a show with more than one black person. We need a show with cuss words and good guys and bad guys and guns and hoods.....this show is so awesome. We need a show where I can secretly ship and fall in love with the moody, flawed, brilliant main character who doesnt look like a supermodel or some muscular lunkhead. I want to squeeze at least three seasons out of this show with being about to lose Criminal Minds.

I remember that icon!! Yeah, I am LOVING this show. Actually, I'm hoping the Lt. on the show (Aisha Hinds, she was in the SVU ep with Kate Moennig? Transitions?) will also fill the hole in my life left by the lack of Van Buren. And Shaun Majumder!! OUR BOY. :D
See, I am fine with cop shows being ridiculous if they're being, you know, ridiculous (The Mentalist, Rizzoli & Isles, Psyche, that kind of thing). What pisses me off is when you know they still think they're being srs bizness, especially with something like SVU, which deals with something that is really not fucking funny at all, and it's not funny, because it's just a case of the show being absolutely TERRIBLE.
Trust me on this one, it's phenomenal. :)
