I think something is going on and Ebata Risa just doesn't want to say what her influences were :p (Although personally, Sheyrl stikes me as a mix of Ayumi Hamasaki, Freddy Mercuery (HEAR ME OUT ON THIS), and Audrey Hepburn, character wise).

I saw a few eps of Jem and the holograms when I was a kid. I loved it. The songs were awesome, indeed! But I couldn't follow it because they stopped showing it... She's really quite Sheryl-like if I think of it.
