Catchup: Butterflies

On one of the last days of my visit to Dad's house, we went to the "Nature Museum" in Charlotte. It was kind of a crappy museum. It's a small, low-budget "hey kids, nature!" thing on the edge of a big city park. Not all that interesting for a grownup. I love these! Seriously, they are really well done! Mike and I always laugh abut something we saw at the butterfly garden at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh. There were a lot of dead butterflies (as well as some really slow moving soon to be dead butterflies) and there was a little happy sign that said (and I'm paraphrasing) Please be aware as our butterflies complete the circle of life. Heh.

If you're really into butterflies and ever swing through St Louis, you'd enjoy the Butterfly House.

I'm sure it describes some people, and I don't say this with any intended condescension, but I am very amused by the idea of somebody being "really into butterflies". :)
