Okay guys... if our Stevie came back in RE:6 or some other canon piece of RE goodness, how would he do it? Where would Claire be in her life? Would Chris be in the picture at all? How would Steve react to seeing Claire? Would be remember her, or has Umbrella done something to permanently damage his memory? Would we get a kiss scene, finally? Would ( Read more... )

I'm of the belief that what Wesker said in Code Veronica was true in that he and "The Organization" (or whatever they're called) attempted to bring Steve back to life, and succeeded. Chris might be in the picture, because granted, he never met Steve, but he has to know of him (considering that his sister was all but crying her soul out over his death).

I don't know if Steve would remember her right from the get. He might have memory fragments of the events in CV, but not everything is there and I think it would be better if he never gets it all back? (Him killing his father, for starters.)

I also think that Steve's eyes will look similar to Wesker's (spell check wants to fix this as "Whiskers." XD), the red-yellow cat's iris. And is it wrong that I'd like to see Claire as a member of the B.S.A.A? Because we'd have the Redfield siblings being BAMFs together, and yes, Claire must still have her ponytail. It's not Claire without her ponytail and her Valkyrie short overcoat. (Personal favorite is the one that says, "Let Me Live.")

Excellent theories! It's good to see a fleshed-out comment with a lot of ideas instead of a short, "Steve is totally coming back". XD

I like the idea of Steve not remembering everything. :3 It would give him a lot more depth with a conflict like that : him trying to remember everything. I think it would be alright if he didn't remember everything, but it would be some good angst if he did remember killing his father. Poor Steve. D8

I've gotten into the habit of calling Wesker, Whiskers. ROFL I like the idea of Steve having a similar eye color to his and I also like the idea of Claire working for the B.S.A.A. It brings her back into the story more. I love Claire with her ponytail, but I will admit that I wouldn't mind seeing her with a different hairstyle. It will just depend on what it is and I'm VERY picky. I've cosplayed that outfit for Claire! <3333

Someone brought him back, either Wesker, Wesker's cronies, or whichever organization Wesker gave him to.

Still working with TerraSave. Probably traveling, doing all she can from the diplomatic end to prevent other biohazards.

Of course he would! He and Claire are too close for him not to be in the picture. ^-^

How would Steve react to seeing Claire?

I always imagine him feeling ashamed of himself and looking depressed when he meets her...if he even remembers her.

Ah, the million-dollar question. I don't know; I can see either happening.

Probably not. We'd get a near-kiss scene, probably some hand-holding, maybe a hug, and lots of googly eyes, but not an actual kiss. :\

I would really hope for a kiss scene for Steve/Claire. Leon/Ada got one!

I kinda wish that Claire was the only one with a ponytail. It kinda sucks that Jill and Sheva are now seen having a ponytail as one of their identifying characteristics.

I hope for one as well, but I'm trying to have realistic expectations. XD

I never noticed that before, but they both do have ponytails, don't they? Well, at least theirs is distinctly different from Claire's; Sheva's is short and kind of curly while Jill's is blond and/or covered by a hat.

It was pretty clear to me from Darkside Chronicles that Steve's body is in the hands of the Organization, which conducts tests on him and extracts the t-veronica virus from his body to create BOWs (like the one in Operation Javier). Whether they're keeping him alive or not is not clear. But if they do, well, he would make his return thanks to them. Not Wesker.

2) Where would Claire be in her life?
Working for Terra-Save like we see her in 2006. Unless something major happens, I think she'll stay with them till she finds him or something.

3) Would Chris be in the picture at all?
At that point, I don't think so. He was barely mentioned in Degeneration. I guess Claire is still in contact with him, but they're both busy with their jobs. I wouldn't see Chris showing up in another Claire/Steve game.

4) How would Steve react to seeing Claire?I guess it will depend if he remembers her or not. I fancy the idea of him being his cocky-self and ( ... )
