It's on.  For those not completley familar, I've recently been pushed over the edge with regards the the easy and lazy solipsism which is becoming normative at Trent, specifically in the Politics dept.  There was a Nursing student who published an article about menstruation, and he got lambasted by the phenomologilists and Foucault-

So a nurse offers some pretty sensible public-health-type advice to female students worried about the late onset of menstruation, and is then attacked for his presumption as a male, and ... get this ... advised to read Foucault.

My daughter is nearly 14. I hope and trust that, when it comes to matters of sexual health, she will be sensible enough to listen to trained practitioners, and not to the narcissistic rantings coming out of Trent.

I rather think that when the nurse's detractors review their postings a few years from now, they will cringe. Please get real, folks.
