FEAST OR FERRET!!! waynefromlorain June 29 2009, 20:44:22 UTC
I at first thought that you had to throw that coconut into the hole and hope it would come out at the right number. The ferret makes it more fun. Those small village festivals or fetes as they call them in England are great. Are you originally from England? I hope to go there someday and check out my ancestry.

Great pictures. I am not sure what that gentleman is doing with that torch though. Great shot of Jim Morrisons grave.

Guy with the torch was doing road repair on the Rue de la Huh-huh-huh. Apparently they just lay down a strip of tar and roast the hell out of it. Looks kinda cool though.

Nope, not English by birth, 'Mercan. Not sure where I'm from anymore but New York is as good an answer as any. I am thinking of introducing ferret-gambling to the US - think it'll do any better than soccar?

I think that ferret roulette would be a big hit here. The kids would love it and the adults would get a big chuckle out of it. I would hang back and try to figure out the percentages of ferret hole choices. I should try this with a hamster. On second thought Poucho would just double back and stay in the hole until bribed with sunflower seeds.

Great stuff as usual. I look forward to having you within an easy drive. See you in Vegas! You know i'll get you in to football games when you come south. Should be the beginning of some good things at State.

Here's hoping they can put something together, but either way expect us on weekends. Been a while since I walked the Outer Banks, and I think my heart might be ready for more of mom's fettuccine alfredo. Might be.

What are the things that look like fingers in the mouth of the first statue?
