Could I drag my heels any more about going back to school this time? I feel so little motivation but at the same time have been in there every day forvthe past week trying to get organized.

I was thoroughly engaged by this pseudo documentary about a term/year (?) in a suburban Parisiene high school. Brave and non didactic could be used to describe it. I loved the complexity of the situation and the lack of moralising or indeed of any clear 'villains and heroes'. The shades of grey made it fascinating, as did the documentary style. The trip to Melbourne was very affirming of the value of friendship. Arunamalin, Andrew, Padmssiddhi and David were all so great to just hang out with and chat too. We didn't have to do anything in particular or try and prove anything. Mutual communication occurred. Great to experience that. I love this narrow grungily fashionable place. Everyone has the air and coture of a jaded popstar or struggling actor. A blend of Fleetwood Mac and Green Day is de rigeur. Black, tatts and stubble are IN; clean cut is most definitely OUT. Thin IN. Stout Out.
