I said I would do this, so here it goes. I'm not going to bother with a few of the "lesser" nominations. Also, some of these are based purely on buzz speculation rather than actually having seen them. That's why these picks are for what I think will when, rather than what I think should win. To say the latter would mean I've seen all the nominees,

Watch "Election" sometime. Reese can act - I'm just not so sure about her role choices. People keep telling me she's the standout in "Walk the Line", though, so I'm betting on her tonight, strange as it might seem.

I am almost certain the Spider-Man movies got some technical awards.

Cinematography, though...that's another thing. I would totally love to see Batman Begins get it, though.
